RAN TOUR

The RAN (Ride Around Nipissing)is similar to the RAP except that it is completely different. The RAN is a shorter ride, only 2 or 3 days, but it has the option of being longer or shorter depending on the route you choose. The whole route is covered by the Near North map. Snow is generally good for the RAN tour with the exception of the area around North Bay. There are a couple of staked trails across Lake Nipissing which can save time for sledders in a hurry. The RAN tour can be accomplished using an all land route with the exception of the really cool bridge across the French River at Hwy. 69.
