If you made it to this page, you must be planning to go sledding! We are so lucky in this part of the world, to have such great winter weather. Often, when snow conditions are not great in North Bay or Huntsville or Sudbury or Key West, we have good snow conditions. You can almost always travel from here to Trout Creek (18 Km north on the highway) in the north, and Kearney/Sand Lake (25 Km south) to the south. Traveling west towards Port Loring and Restoule is usually pretty good as well. Trails are well-marked, well-groomed and little travelled. We often have guys go out for a ride mid-week and only see one or two other sleds! Honest! We are a little bit higher in elevation here than the other surrounding areas and that seems to give us good snow. Our trails are almost always passable by Christmas, and they will get better and better until March Break. If you want to come up for the weekend (which we do recommend!) why not give us a call at 1-800-263-7537. Our winter time is a very busy time for us, especially at night, when folks are sleepin'. Some people come up early in the morning, check-in and then go sleddin'. Works out great for them, since they only have to pay for one nights stay, don't have to fight the traffic, and still get two days of sledding done! We are located on trail C105D, which is an east/west TOP connector trail. Have a look at our local neighbourhood trail map, to find out exactly how to get in here. Click HERE for the map of our neighbourhood to get detailed info. We are on the highway about one mile south of South River. Our local snowmobile club usually grooms a trail right to our door along the highway from town and from the Boundary Road to the south of us. Gas and oil are easy to find at the Shell station in town, they are open from 8 AM till 10 PM every day. If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to call our toll-free number for exact trail and weather information. If you have stayed with us before, you know that we will ask you where you went today and what the trails were like. We ask everyone we see, and pass along the information to everyone else! Hey, things are good for the 2009/10 season. We have had some snow, a little rain to knock it down and then some more snow and cold weather .What could be better! Give us a call to see how we can help with your trip.
